Envirocell is a
consultancy and training organisation specialising
in the environmental and chemical aspects of the pulp and paper industry and
is based in Loweswater in the North-western part of the English Lake District

by Leslie Webb,
who has a varied background in applied chemistry and environmental management
having worked for environmental consulting engineers, chemical industry and
research organisations over the last 30 years. He is a Chartered Chemist,
Chartered Water and Environmental Manager, Fellow of the Royal Society of
Chemistry and Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental
Management. Envirocell has an operational environmental policy within its vision and mission
statement and also operates to certain ethical standards. Since its formation in
1990, Envirocell has provided consultancy advice and training for a range of
organisations including papermakers, paper merchants, chemical and equipment
suppliers, regulatory bodies, paper users and to other consulting firms as an
expert specialist. The types of activity carried out are summarised below
together with examples of the technical subject areas that can be covered
within the two main streams of the environment and paper chemistry. |
